CAPF is an alliance of governance focused civil society organizations in Kenya intent on coalescing their expertise, experiences and programmatic resources towards the improvement of the regulation, management and culture of political party financing in the country. Its purpose is to promote dialogue and build support for political party finance reforms among political parties, civil society organizations and the general public through research, advocacy, civic education and partnership building.

To promote ethical and transparent mobilization and utilization of financial resources by political parties in Kenya.

Stable, vibrant and accountable political parties in Kenya.
Values:
The values of CAPF are principles that govern and guide the institutional conduct of members in meeting
the strategic objectives and implementation of its strategic plan. The Coalition's values are:-
Commitment- staying very dedicated to the cause of the Coalition all the time and the
implementation of the strategic plan.
Objectivity- members remaining very objective in executing the strategic plan.
Transparency- thus, conducting business openly and in a manner above reproach all the time.
Accountability- taking responsibility for all actions.
Patriotic- putting the national interest before any considerations.
